Be A Part Of Our Pilot Programme for Teachers
PERIOD: OCTOBER 2021 – MARCH 2022
Our Pilot Programme aims to equip 11 primary school teachers with the knowledge on how to guide their students in setting up an edible school garden in accordance to their individual capacity. Each primary school teacher will then nominate 5 students whom they will guide through the process, with the help of Eats, Shoots & Roots. The programme will include:
• 1 x Teacher’s Workshop (Online or Practical, depending on COVID SOPs) on 15th October 2021, 10am-11am
• 6 x Monthly Kids Kits (sent to each nominated student)
• Online support from Eats, Shoots & Roots over 6 months
FEES: FREE
This pilot programme is FREE for successful teacher applicants, and has been
made possible with the help of UNICEF, the Penjana SIM Grant, and kind
individuals who have funded this programme directly:

Priority will be given to Primary School Teachers from local schools

Join a practical workshop
This workshop aims to walk teachers through the ideas and processes within the guide, and support teachers by giving a hands-on approach, either via a garden volunteer session, or an online live webinar. Each participant will also receive a printed copy of the Parent/Teacher’s Guide To Growing Local Sayur.
Workshop will either be conducted online or at our partner venue, VTOC Edible Garden, Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur – depending on latest COVID SOPs.
